Changes to the Newsletter – We're Moving to Free
What this means for you as a paid subscriber.
I hope this email finds you well and enjoying your latest project. As someone who has supported my punch needle rug hooking journey through a paid subscription, I want to personally thank you for your incredible support and belief in my work. It has meant the world to me, and I am truly grateful.
I’m writing to share an important update about the Substack newsletter. After much thought and reflection, I have decided to make the newsletter completely free and accessible to everyone in this wonderful community.
There are a couple of reasons for this change:
1. Connecting with More of You: The heart of my work is the community we’ve built together. I want to share my passion, tips, and creative inspiration with as many people as possible. By opening up the newsletter to everyone, I hope to connect with more fellow fibre artists, crafters, makers and enthusiasts like yourself.
2. Interest and Engagement: I’ve noticed that the interest in the paid version hasn’t been as strong as I initially hoped. Instead of focusing on subscription numbers, I’d rather put my energy into creating content that reaches and inspires a larger audience. My goal is to build a vibrant, engaged community where we can all share and grow together.
What This Means for You:
- You’ll continue to receive the same content you’ve come to enjoy – free patterns, project ideas, creative inspiration, and more – but now it’s available to everyone without any cost.
- If you’ve paid for a subscription, you will receive a refund for any time remaining on your subscription. Please check your inbox for further details coming from Substack and/or Stripe Payments.
This decision was not an easy one and I hope you’ll continue to be part this community. Your feedback and engagement mean everything to me, and I’m always here to hear your thoughts and suggestions.
